Sam's Cottage gave us great value for our money with its central location, comfortable beds, and modern amenities. The staff treated us well and the welcome pack in the kitchen was a thoughtful touch.
The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better would be having more options available.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in the heart of Keswick. The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot and by bus, with great links to places like Grasmere. The beds were incredibly soft and clean, and the cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a dishwasher. The space was minimal, which made it easy to manage with our toddler. I highly recommend this centrally located cottage for those who want a convenient base for their Lake District getaway.

The location of the cottage is great, right in the heart of the town and just a short stroll away from the center. The house itself is warm and well-equipped, with modern appliances and thoughtful touches such as books, DVDs, and a smart TV. The welcome pack in the kitchen, including delicious biscuits, is also a nice touch.
Parking can be a bit tricky, with a narrow passage and limited space.

Great location and well-appointed cottage with plenty of facilities. The beds were super soft and clean. The welcome pack had delicious biscuits, and the kitchen had modern appliances and a dishwasher. The cottage was in the heart of town, just a short stroll away from restaurants and shops. We also appreciated the little gizmo in the sitting area that gave us details of local events and facilities.
The parking was a bit tricky, with a narrow alleyway and steep walls on either side. It made it difficult to drive in and out, especially if cars were parked on the double yellow lines.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the cottage. The decor was charming and reminded me of my own grandmother's house. It felt like a true home away from home. The general areas were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing and chatting with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the cottage was. There were handrails in the hallways and the stairs had non-slip mats, making it easier for me to navigate around. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.
Although the staff was friendly and helpful, I would have appreciated if there were more activities or entertainment options available specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been lovely to have some evening events or organized tours suitable for us older folks.

The location of this place is mind-blowing! Right in the heart of the town, it's super convenient to walk to Derwent Water and other amazing spots. The beds were so soft, it felt like sleeping on a cloud! And having a dishwasher was a game-changer. The space was just perfect for us and our toddler, with minimal clutter to worry about. We booked this last minute and Keswick Cottages really saved our Lake District break. We can't thank them enough! The parking was safe and the house was nice and warm. The welcome pack with delicious biscuits was a nice touch. We absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants to be centrally located and avoid driving around too much. Plus, they offer wi-fi, free parking, pets are allowed, and it's a smoke-free environment. our stay here was simply jaw-dropping!
